Michael Cox, RPh
Meet Michael Cox, our owner and lead pharmacist! He is from St. Marys, WV, and he graduated from WVU School of Pharmacy. He and his wife, Laura, started our company in 2005. When asked why he chose independent pharmacy, Mike said:
“I love the practice of pharmacy, and the independent setting allows me to take care of patients the way I see best. There is no controversy in sharing my faith with the staff and patients, and that is the core of our company.”
Taylor Wood, PharmD
Taylor has been with us since 2010 and joined the pharmacist team after graduating with her PharmD in 2017. Why did Taylor choose to work at Cox Family Pharmacy?
“I’ve grown up here. Watching my parents build something that they love has helped me fall in love with it, also. Our patients are family, and we always try to treat them as such. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
Logan Cox, PharmD
Meet Logan Cox, he has been with us since 2016 and has recently joined the pharmacist team after graduating from WVU School of Pharmacy in 2022. When asked why he chose independent pharmacy he states:
“I’ve grown up in this pharmacy and I’ve also worked in chains through school. Working in a locally owned pharmacy allows more time to get to know my patients and allows for a more personal experience. Knowing each patient helps us care for them, and their family through all stages of life. “
Carla Bailey, PharmD
Carla is from Williamstown, WV and graduated from WVU School of Pharmacy. She has lead our Piggly Wiggly team since 2013. Carla said:
